San Francisco, October 2, 2018: Tallia Hart, President & CEO of the 乌鸦传媒, has resigned from her role with the organization to pursue other opportunities.
Hart, who lives in Marin County, has led the organization since a nationwide search led to her hiring in January 2017.聽 Her resignation is effective on October 31.
鈥淎lthough I am extremely proud of the accomplishments that we have worked on together, I have decided that it is time for me to step down and focus on a positive quality of life,鈥� Hart said.
During her time with the Chamber, Hart led a reorganization of the Chamber staff, strengthened the Chamber鈥檚 finances, and collaborated with Board leadership to develop a three-year strategic plan.聽 Hart implemented successful programming, such as WELL, a learning and success series for empowering women in the workplace.聽 She also led a revision of the bylaws, and increased the focus of membership and its importance to the health of the organization.
鈥淲e are grateful for Tallia鈥檚 service,鈥� said Janis MacKenzie, Chair of the Chamber鈥檚 Board of Directors. 鈥淪he was the first woman, first diverse leader and youngest to lead our 167-year-old organization, during a time of growth and change in our city. The Chamber has benefited from her leadership and we will leverage those accomplishments as we build toward the future.鈥�
鈥淚 have greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with so many amazing business leaders in San Francisco,鈥� Hart added. 鈥淭his has been an incredible experience and I am thankful for the many relationships that I built while working with the Chamber.聽 I was asked to modernize the organization and that鈥檚 what I did.聽 I鈥檓 proud of my incredibly successful 20 years of organizational management and look forward to my future.鈥�
