As the Bay Area continues to reel from the effects of fires spreading across Northern California, we have been humbled by many of our members who have reached out in an effort to help.

Our business community will continue to rally together and support the tens of thousands of people who have lost homes, jobs and businesses. Please spread the word about the various ways to support our neighbors as they embark on a long road to recovery.
- The Hotel Council of San Francisco has partnered with the Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau to offer discounted hotels to families and those affected by the fire.
- The bank’s ATMs will allow customers to make donations through Oct. 23.
- Bank of America will be providing based on a customer’s specific need.
- Bank of the West is one of many banks that have been impacted by closures. They will be holding an in-kind food and toiletries drive this week in San Francisco and San Ramon.
- United Airlines has launched a , which raised close to $100,000 in one day on a dollars-for-miles program. They also donated 8,000 amenity kits to North Bay shelters.
- is collecting in-kind donations for evacuees to be sent up the afternoon of Oct. 13.
- The Safeway Foundation is hosting an to help people and communities affected by the California Wildfires. 聽Safeway stores in Northern California and Northern Nevada are raising money to help the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to and help people recover from these devastating fires.听The Safeway Foundation will match customer donations up to $500,000.听

They have also set up a special hotline staffed by trained multilingual legal professionals with free legal advice and evaluation of circumstances with referrals to appropriate legal resources. The hotline is open Monday thru Thursday, 8:30am-8:00pm, and can be reached at 415-575-3120. - Comcast is to aid residents and emergency personnel affected by the California wildfires.
- is offering a 25% discount on all services for those impacted by the fire and has committed to be an evacuation center, should it be necessary, for pet care facilities in the North Bay impacted by the fire.
