The Job Forum 72 Years of Service

Since 1952, The Job Forum has attracted generous volunteers who are managers from SF Bay Area companies who do the work to advise job hunters.

Job hunters come to Job Forum events from the SF Bay Area region and may be new to the USA or to our region and /or may have been laid off or suffered downsizing due to a company acquisition. Most of the job hunters do not have a professional network here for the career path for which they are now searching. The volunteers provide the human network and encouragement and candid feedback, in addition to providing practical job search guidance.

Armed with advice gained through The Job Forum events, job hunters can be more effective in their job searches, because they know what to focus on for their particular individual situation and they have been guided to what strategies will make them more likely to be successful.

Special Initiatives

In addition to helping all job hunters who want to attend, The Job Forum has 3 special initiatives.
