ÌýMedical Account Associate Director at Novo Nordisk.ÌýDr. Flugge has focused on obesity as a chronic disease, he works to educate employers on the disease state, impact on employers, impact on employees, and the current evidence for addressing obesity in the work place. A board certified pharmacotherapy specialist, Dr. Flugge hopes to help identify ways employers can improve outcomes in individuals living with obesity. Dr. Flugge earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy and went on to practice at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the VA before joining Novo Nordisk.
